Welcome to the IISD data portal on indicators for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Reporting on SDG indicators will ultimately happen at the national level, but it is the combined efforts of local level action that will allow us to monitor progress towards achieving the SDGs. This page provides a snapshot of the status of selected indicators in the Canadian context. The data has been compiled from several national and local Canadian data sources, and is being updated periodically as data becomes available.
How to navigate this page:
Use the dropdown menus to select different options and views in the visualization. You can choose an indicator from the first dropdown menu, to view time-series data from different Canadian cities.
You can further refine the visualization, by choosing one or multiple cities from the second dropdown menu. Below the visualization, you can explore which selected Canadian indicators correspond to which UN SDGs.
Select a goal to see which Canadian indicator corresponds to which UN indicator.
