Dr Peter Doran is a lecturer in sustainable development, environment and planning at the School of Law at Queens University in Belfast Committee. He now lives and works in Belfast, retreating to his native Donegal in the North West at every opportunity where he maintains a cottage in Quigleys Point. His research interests include consumerism, advertising, political culture and sustainable consumption. He has served on the Executives of the Green Party in both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.
