Mari Luomi
Writer/Editor Earth Negotiations Bulletin
Mari Luomi holds a Ph.D. in Middle East Politics from Durham University. She specializes in environmental and natural resource politics of the Gulf, with a particular focus on climate change. In the past, she has worked as researcher for the Finnish Institute of International Affairs and post-doctoral fellow for the Center for International and Regional Studies of Georgetown University’s Qatar campus. Mari has also worked as senior researcher and advisor for the State of Qatar in the areas of climate politics and environmental policy. She is currently based in Brazil’s green capital, Curitiba.
