Rashmi Jose is a Policy Advisor with IISD’s Economic Law and Policy program, specializing in trade and investment. Prior to joining IISD, she spent nearly six years at the International Centre for Trade and Sustainable Development (ICTSD), leading their work on investment and regulatory coherence. She was also the lead for the E15 Initiative, a joint ICTSD-World Economic Forum project devoted to developing recommendations for the future of the multilateral trading system. Her previous work includes financial analysis and forecasting at Proctor and Gamble, as well as investment policy research at the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD). She has a Master of Public Administration from Columbia University’s School of International and Political Affairs (SIPA), specializing in economic and political development, and a Bachelor of Arts in economics and anthropology, with honors, from New York University. Rashmi is based out of IISD’s Geneva office.
