Marina works on policy solutions for successful freshwater management, particularly in the Lake Winnipeg watershed.
Marina has worked extensively in public policy research with the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives, where she interpreted government policies and analyzed data, delivering recommendations for government. She has assisted on many projects in partnership with organizations such as the Southern First Nations Network of Care and the Truth and Reconciliation Commission, and holds masters degrees in economics from the universities of Manitoba and Moscow.
